Dawn & Lily have collaborated on numerous projects over the last decade. Kaya Karma now brings their energies and interests together in an official capacity, in which they can share their passion for all things beautiful and a desire to make a positive contribution through design. Together they challenge the idea that sustainability and style are mutually exclusive. They will introduce you to luxurious, well-designed interior solutions that don’t cost the earth!

Dawn McAdam 

A qualified Interior Architect with eight years industry experience, specialising in commercial and leisure projects in South Africa, Adu-Dabi and the UK. Dawn has been involved in green design for almost ten years and her projects include the conceptualisation and construction of two cob/strawbale (eco-friendly) houses in South Africa.  She loves working on innovative projects with clients who challenge the norm. Dawn is a strong believer in design for the environment, with a particular love for green architecture. 

Liezel Strauss

Lily (as she likes to be called) is a Holistic Interior Designer and a projects person at heart with a lifetime of creative experience. Her endeavors include international projects, ranging from curating art exhibitions in London to the transformation of Wellness Centres in Cape Town and NYC. She is also a published author of a City Guide to Hamburg and is a contributor to acclaimed US blog : Apartment Therapy. Lily firmly believes that the wellbeing of people are connected to the state of their nests and work environments.
